Our Staff and Their Areas of Specialty


Cassie Abel
Cassie Abel APSW, SAC-IT
Cassie approaches therapy with an interest in helping adolescents and adults live more fulfilling lives. She earned her master's degree in social work at Aurora University and comes to Credence after five years of service with the Walworth County Crisis unit with additional experience in hospice and mindfulness. Issues of particular interest include addiction, grief, anxiety, depression, anger and management. Cassie is a LGBTQ affirmative therapist and a substance abuse counselor in training.


Kristi Balge
Kristi Balge MA, LPC
Kristi Balge is a Licensed Professional Counselor having earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University in 1997. She also has completed numerous hours of additional training toward her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.

Kristi specializes in working with children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism-Spectrum Disorders. She works in conjunction with the child's parents and other family members to provide a comprehensive treatment experience. She is a skilled parent educator, an engaging social skills group trainer for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and most recently is the facilitator for the teenage girls conflict resolution group.

Kristi also brings a part-time assistant to her therapy practice. Montana is a therapy dog having graduated from a three-year training program developed by the Assistance Canine Training Services in New Hampshire. Montana's presence in therapy assists in establishing a rapport with children who are withdrawn or have social skill delays. Service dog tasks are utilized to facilitate communication of skills concept and demonstrate cooperative interaction. Children are comforted by his gentle nature during therapy addressing emotions such as grief, fear, and anger.

Kristi is available to see clients during the day, evening and some Saturdays.


Joy Clikeman
Joy Clikeman MS, LMFT
Joy Clikeman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist having received her Master's degree from Indiana State University in 1997. She has worked with clients at Credence Therapy Associates since 2007. Joy specializes in working with couples, families, and children. She has expertise in providing co-parenting counseling for couples after separation and divorce, treating individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, and grief related issues. Joy is a very energetic, positive person who communicates empowerment and confidence to the clients she treats. She is available for daytime therapy appointments and one evening per week.

Joy is married and has two children. She lives an active lifestyle by teaching fitness classes in the area, is an avid cyclist, and is actively involved in her church community.


Victoria Loudon
Victoria Loudon PhD
Vikee Loundon holds a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in School Psychology and a Doctorate Degree in Counseling Psychology from Marquette University. She has over 30 years experience as a School Psychologist and has been Credence Therapy Associates since 1994. Vikee has also been an adjunct professor at Cardinal Stritch University, teaching graduate courses to teachers. Her training and years of service with the Delavan-Darien School District has provided her with invaluable, hands on experience working with children and teens dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, academic underachievement, attention deficit disorder, trauma reactions and a multitude of services for all the major mental health disorders. Vikiee also teaches coping and adjustment skills for adults going through transitional periods in life such as first time parents, adjusting to divorce, and grief and loss issues.

Vikee is available to see clients weekdays and evening as well as some Saturdays.


Henry Sibbing
Henry Sibbing JD, MS, LPC, LMHC
Hank received a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California majoring in Philosophy, a JD from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, CA, and a MS in Counselor Education from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. He was a practicing trial lawyer in Walworth County, Wisconsin for 35 years primarily in the fields of Family Law and Criminal Law. Since his retirement from the practice of law, he has been serving clients for 10 years as a psychotherapist concentrating his practice in the fields of Marriage and Family and individual psychotherapy serving clients with mood disorders while continuing his part-time duties as Lake Geneva Municipal Judge. Having received a heart transplant 13 years ago, Hank has also developed a Cardiac Mental Health Therapy Program to assist those who have experienced serious cardiac issues. Hand and his wife Mary have 5 adult children and 8 grandchildren. His hobbies include golf, fishing, hiking, and biking.


Melvin SooHoo
Melvin SooHoo MD, Psychiatrist

Dr. SooHoo has provided psychiatric services for clients at Credence Therapy Associates since 1992. Dr. SooHoo received his medical degree from Wayne Sate University. He is Board Certified and provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for a broad spectrum of mental health issues.


Tim Swanson
Tim Swanson MS, LPC, LCPC
Tim Swanson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and joins Credence Therapy Associates having over 38 years of experience in the Mental Health field. Tim earned a B.A. in Psychology from Trinity College in 1973 and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from George Williams College of Aurora University in 1977. His practice includes the treatment of individuals, couples, and families relative to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and other mental health issues. Tim has been married to his wife for 36 years and enjoys time with his 3 adult children and 8 grandchildren.
